One of the most famous cases involves a Border Collie named Pippin in Costa Rica. Pippin was playing near a river when a crocodile grabbed her and dragged her into the water. A nearby man and his friends, who were fishermen, rushed to help. They started hitting the crocodile, and amazingly, the crocodile released the dog, allowing Pippin to be rescued. This incident was caught on camera and went viral. 

In a wildlife park in Australia, there was an unusual friendship between a saltwater crocodile named Zorro and a Bull Arab dog named Bully. They lived in close proximity for years without any incident. Zorro even allowed Bully to sit on his head, and the two animals appeared to have a unique bond. 

In a village in India, a stray dog was seen sharing a meal with a crocodile on the banks of a river. While this wasn't exactly a case of saving, it was a surprising example of coexistence between two normally antagonistic species. It's important to note that these cases are exceptions and should not be taken as evidence of crocodiles having a tendency to save or protect dogs. Crocodiles are primarily apex predators, and interactions with other animals are usually predatory in nature. The above instances are rare and unexpected occurrences. Additionally, crocodiles can be very dangerous to humans and animals, and it's essential to exercise caution and respect their natural behavior when in their habitat.
